Membership terms
The terms in ten lines, with no cross-references and no surprises.
Who can join
Individuals and organisations working in art, artistic craftsmanship, design, galleries, garden design, urban planning or architecture, whose work holds to the ten points of the RED philosophy. In particular, at least half the material in the work presented must come from salvage. Conformity is assessed by the council, whose decision is final and requires no justification.
How you become a member
Applications are made solely through the online form. The council decides within 30 days and communicates the outcome by email. Membership begins on acceptance.
Membership is free
RED asks for no joining fee and no paid renewal. There is no cost to apply, to be accepted, to appear among the members or on the world map, or to use the RED mark on work that holds to the philosophy. Membership is free at present; the council reserves the right to introduce, in future, contributions tied to specific services or projects, which would be announced well in advance and never applied retroactively.
Annual confirmation
Once a year the movement asks each member to confirm, with a single click, that they are still active. This keeps the map alive: without a reply within 60 days of the request, the member's profile and point are removed. Reactivation is possible at any time with an email, without applying again.
Withdrawal
A member may withdraw at any time by writing to adesioni@redmov.ch: publication ends within a few working days and nothing is owed by either party.
Use of the mark
The RED mark may be used by active members only in relation to work that holds to the RED philosophy. Improper use leads to withdrawal of membership.
Revocation
The council may revoke membership if a member's work ceases to hold to the RED philosophy, or if the member damages the movement. Revocation is communicated in writing and the member may ask for one review.
